K-2 students participate in a short nutrition talk, then create a colourful plate of edible art using fruit & vegetables to improve their knowledge of healthy eating habits. Bring: a whole fruit or vegetable (that can be eaten raw) - please do not cut. If you are able help cut up F&V on Tuesday night, or help in the classroom with preparing F&V platters and assisting students with their "art on a plate", please contact Janine at EHPSLLW@gmail.com. Years 3-5 will participate in a nutrition talk and make a Wrap for lunch with an amazing assortment of healthy fillings. Year 6 will participate in a nutrition talk and make a "rainbow" Salad Jar for lunch and Bliss Ball snack. BYO Fork. Cost $5. Please Make a Payment, using school website by Friday 21 May. You do not need to return the permission note, unless your child has a food allergy. If so, please complete the form by Friday 21 May, to ensure enough allergy-free food is purchased prior to the activity. The Food Allergy Form can be printed from the school website or completed online via the school app. Class timetable: TBC Volunteers are needed on each day to replenish food and assist students.
