Learning remotely

We're keeping students learning both in and out of the classroom.

Explore the department's Learning remotely resources to support both online and offline learning for all students.

Learning from home with Technology

Our teachers are finding new ways to teach and communicate with their students at home, in addition to the software they were already using in the classroom.

One of these is ZOOM for tele-conferencing. Please read:
Guidelines that parents and students need to follow when using ZOOM (PDF 259KB)
Instructions for accessing a Zoom meeting (PDF 218KB)
Zoom meeting menu bar information (PDF 422KB)
Chromebooks (used at school) - YouTube video how to access the new Zoom app.

Most learning will be done through Google Classroom. Students will need to login using the same details they login with at school. Please contact the office if student login details are needed.
Google Classroom - Instructions to join and access (PDF 290KB)
Google Classroom - Desktop and Mobile app instructions (PDF 385KB)

Students are now able to use PS4, PS5 and Xbox devices to access Google Classroom and Google Docs, although there are a few limitations.

Learning remotely without technology

We understand some students do not have access to a device or internet for online learning. Contact the school to discuss non-digital learning from home options for your child.
