Year 6 students are busy preparing for the Year 6 Market Day being held on Tues 20 Nov. There will be stalls with homemade food and drinks, art and crafts, and games. K-5 students are asked to bring no more than $10.
The purpose of Market Day is for Year 6 to showcase their wonderful collaborative and creative skills, with the goal of raising as much money as possible for a gift for the school.
Year 6 enjoyed a lesson from Barb & Carly (LLW@S committee) making yummy decorated apple rings - see photos. They also discussed other healthy and home-made treats that they could sell on the day.
They will begin their promotion campaigns for their Market Day through posters around the school and presentations at morning lines in week 5!
(NB Canteen will be closed on Market Day)
