Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

The P&C at Elanora Heights Public School plays a vital role in supporting the school and its community. From fundraising for essential resources to running the Canteen and Uniform Shop, the P&C is at the heart of building a strong and connected school environment. Joining the P&C is a fantastic way to get involved, meet other families, and make a real difference in your child’s education.

Fundraising

The Elanora Heights Public School P&C runs various  fun and engaging events  each year to raise funds for our children’s education and bring our community together.

Funds raised are allocated to enhance the school environment and resources. Spending decisions are voted on at P&C meetings. Parents are welcome to suggest new opportunities for P&C contributions—your ideas are always appreciated!

Throughout the year, you may receive a message on Schoolstream, or your class parent may forward a communication from the P&C asking for your support—whether it’s your time, a donation, or simply participating in an event. Every bit of help directly benefits our kids, and most events include a fun element for children, parents, or both.

Some of our  popular fundraising and social events  include Mother’s and Father’s Day breakfasts, school discos, parents’ nights, cake stalls, hamper raffles, and more.
