Big Hearts and Little Learners Buddy Program

The EHPS Big Hearts and Little Learners Buddy Program is designed to promote positive relationships, enhance student and teacher connectedness, and develop leadership while building a strong sense of belonging within our school community. Through this program, students are supported in their social and emotional development, encouraged to show empathy and responsibility, and provided with meaningful opportunities to build confidence and communication skills.

Wellbeing Ambassadors Program

EHPS Wellbeing Ambassadors are part or our whole school Live Life Well @ School wellbeing program. These Year 6 students strive to model RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE behaviour, with both teachers and staff. They are ambassadors, not only for their fellow students, but for the whole school community.

Their modelling of, and attitude towards positive playground behaviours, aims to help students across the school (specifically students in K-2) communicate and engage with each other safely and respectfully in the playground.

Meeters and Greeters Program

The Meeters and Greeters program aims to help build a stronger school community, encourage student leadership and ensure everyone feels welcome and safe at school. This initiative creates a warm, welcoming environment each morning in the school playground.

Students selected for this program, as a representative of their year group, and are recognized in their potential while demonstrating social-emotional skills and modelling the school's values each day.

Our extra-curricular highlights

Debating and public speaking

Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Creative and performing arts

Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Sporting Opportunities

Our students participate in the Pittwater PSSA sporting competition. In addition they also participate in Carnivals, Gala Days and Knockout competitions.
